Emergency Safety Interventions Policy

Kansas regulations now require that we provide all parents with notice of policies regarding Emergency Safety Interventions ("ESI''). The State of Kansas policy is available on our website and in our student handbooks. In addition, we will provide a copy of the policy at any time upon request.

P.B.I.S. - Positive Behavior Intervention & Support

Tri-City has implemented this program into our daily schedule. Each week the students are asked to state the definitions to "Pride". For each correct letter, the students earn one white loop. If he/she states all letters correct, a set of green, yellow and white loops are awarded. The loops are collected by each homeroom for a monthly reward party.

Classroom Birthday Treats

Tri-City would like to take this time to remind parents that if you would like to bring birthday
treats/drinks to school for your child’s birthday that you:
  • Make prior arrangements with your chcild's homeroom teacher. (Traditionally, on the day of your child's birthday, s/he will make their own cake in our Life Skills room to share with their classmates.)
  • If you choose to purchase a cake or cupcakes, avoid brightly colored frostings.
  • If drinks are purchased, as well, we are asking that lemonade or water be your choice of
    beverage.

Ala Carte Menu Items Available at Tri-City Day School

Tri-City students will have the option to purchase items a la carte during breakfast and lunch. Your student must have funds available on their meal account to purchase a la carte items.
